Our hot water system died one Sat night and I called Rob the following day. He was able to ask a series of questions to determine what the scope of our job may be and then offer a few options and some rough price guides. He arrived when he said he would the following day to assess our job properly. We had to decide if the new system should be installed on the opposite side of the house to the broken one and what sub-floor pipework would be required to upgrade from a stand-alone unit to a continuous flow one. Rob gave us impartial advice and several options and then provided a written quote on the same day to help us decide. He then turned up and did the job when he said he would. His motto was to “do the job as well as he would in his own home” and my husband and I felt he lived up to this claim. Rob was easy to deal with, demonstrably reliable and a clear, relaxed communicator, thoroughly answering all of our questions and happily doing a few extra bits and pieces we needed at the same time (disconnect an old gas pipe etc). Rob demonstrated an ‘old school’ work ethic of punctuality and quality service and I would highly recommend him to others. We’ll certainly use him again when needed.
